What's Included in the Package?
First of all, decide which size of loom is the best for you - for pointers, take a look at our blog post which gives you help in that regard. We would say pick the largest that your place can comfortably accommodate.
When you've decided and put the order through we will send you our warping up video for free!
Included in this package are
- the loom in a size of your choice
- a loom stand
- a canvas bag to carry your loom
The loom-
choose from a 16", 24" or 32" loom
Included with the loom is:
- an 8 dent rigid heddle
- stick shuttle
- pick up stick
- warping clamps for direct warping
- warping pegs for indirect warping using the back of the loom
- double heddle block for weaving double the width
- threading hook
- warping helper
The loom is made from wood and has metal ratchets which we find more substantial than plastic ones. It folds in half, even if you have the warp still attached which allows for easy storage, brilliant if like us you live in a small space.
The looms come in four sizes, we would recommend that you buy the largest loom you can comfortably weave on. Remember you can always weave a smaller project on a larger loom but not the other way round
The loom will need assembling but we have created a video that takes you through the whole process, you can see it here
