In this weaving workshop you'll learn
* how to warp your rigid heddle loom

* how to weave with pick up sticks
* finishing techniques
We will ask your colour choices and dye gorgeous yarns for you to weave with over the two days. We want you to have a real treat.
This workshop gives us the time and space to take your time with your weaving, giving you the opportunity to ask those questions and build your confidence.
Drinks and cake is included, lunch isnt, although there is a great cafe over the road. You are welcome to bring along a packed lunch.
The venue is John Archer Hall, 68 Upper Hill Street, Toxteth, L8 1YR at the studio of
Emma Summerscales. Check out her Facebook page
We can provide you a rigid heddle loom, or if you have one that you're struggling to get the hang of, bring it on the day - learn to weave on your own loom! You could alternatively purchase a loom from us and we will bring it on the day and we can put it together for you.
We will be using larger looms so that we can have a big beautiful piece at the end. You will learn to weave using different techniques, so you could use it as a sample piece, or if you wanted to make something to show off, we can do that too!
If you prefer to learn online at your own pace, check out our online warping class by clicking here. Online weaving coming soon!
