The setup and way of working are largely the same as the Flex rigid heddle looms, making the system immediately familiar for those already using Flex. The side panels have been adjusted for this width and are slightly lighter, while the depth of the loom remains unchanged.
The loom is designed purely as a rigid heddle loom and offers enough space for wider scarves, shawls and other projects.
Vari-dent heddle
The loom is supplied with a modular 30/10 vari-dent heddle as standard.
Thanks to the modular heddle frame, segments can easily be added or removed. This allows different densities to be combined in one heddle.
The loom is prepared for a second rigid heddle. An extra heddle frame and additional segments are available separately.
The shape of the heddle reduces bending and helps keep the segments better in place, also at higher tension.
Practical and stable design
Like the Flex looms, this model includes a back beam and breast beam. This provides a more stable warp and a more comfortable weaving experience.
The loom is supplied as an unfinished flat-pack kit in solid beech and beech plywood and is compact for storage and transport.
